- We do not sell operator or customer data.
- Stripe handles full card and bank details. MowNext stores payment status, IDs, and metadata, not full card or bank numbers.

- Operators are responsible for telling their own customers how their information is used.
- You can ask for access, correction, export, deletion, or opt-out help by emailing support.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how MowNext handles personal information when people visit our marketing site, create an account, use the app, receive customer portal links, pay invoices, receive emails or SMS messages, or contact us for support.
The legal entity has not been formed yet, so MowNext is used as a placeholder. The final legal name and mailing address should be added before public launch.
Operators use MowNext to manage their own customers. That means we may process personal information about homeowners or other end-customers on behalf of the lawn care operator. The operator is responsible for its relationship with those customers and for giving any notices or getting any consents required by law.
2. Data we collect
We collect information in these categories:
- Account information: name, email, business name, role, phone number, timezone, login/session details, and user invite data.
- Business settings: plan, billing status, branding, logo, invoice footer, tax settings, payment settings, SMS settings, and notification preferences.
- Customer and property records: names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, property notes, gate codes, dog warnings, route details, job history, service history, and archive status.
- Work data: recurring schedules, job dates, route order, job status, photos, notes, estimates, invoices, payments, tips, time entries, and GPS coordinates when provided.
- Messages: email and SMS content, sender and recipient, timestamps, delivery status, replies, opt-in and opt-out records, and provider IDs.
- Billing and payment metadata: Stripe customer IDs, subscription IDs, Connect account IDs, payment intent IDs, charge IDs, invoice status, failed payment status, and refund metadata.
- Device, usage, and log data: IP address, browser, device type, approximate location from IP, pages viewed, actions taken, errors, performance logs, and security logs.
- Support data: emails, support requests, bug reports, migration files, CSVs, screenshots, and other information you send us.
3. Your customer data
Your customer list and job history belong to you. We use that data to provide MowNext and to help you serve your customers. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it to market unrelated products to your customers.
You should not add sensitive data unless it is needed to run the route. Do not use MowNext as a place to store Social Security numbers, medical information, passwords, bank account details, or chemical-compliance records that the product is not designed to handle.
4. How we use data
We use data to:
- Create and secure accounts.
- Run scheduling, routes, jobs, estimates, invoices, payments, SMS, email, and reports.
- Send magic links, invoices, receipts, reminders, support replies, and account notices.
- Process subscriptions, trials, plan changes, cancellations, refunds, and past-due billing.
- Detect fraud, spam, abuse, security issues, SMS compliance issues, and delivery problems.
- Debug, improve, and measure product performance.
- Help with migration, support, and account recovery.
- Comply with legal, tax, payment, telecom, and provider requirements.
5. Who we share data with
We share data with service providers only when needed to run MowNext. These providers may include:
- Stripe for subscription billing, Stripe Connect, card payments, ACH, identity, and fraud checks.
- Telnyx or another SMS provider for outbound SMS, inbound replies, opt-out handling, and delivery logs.
- Postmark, Resend, or another transactional email provider for email delivery and bounce handling.
- Hosting, database, storage, CDN, backup, and logging providers.
- Analytics and product monitoring providers.
- Support, bug reporting, security, and migration tools.
- Professional advisors, insurers, banks, auditors, or government authorities when required.
We may also share data if needed to protect MowNext, our users, customers, or the public; to respond to lawful requests; to enforce our Terms; or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as that term is used in California privacy law.
Mobile opt-in information, phone numbers, and SMS consent records are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
6. Payments
Stripe processes payment information. We do not store full card numbers, full bank account numbers, or full payment credentials on MowNext servers. Stripe may collect information directly from operators and customers to process payments, prevent fraud, satisfy bank rules, and meet legal requirements.
We store payment metadata needed to show invoice status, subscription status, payment history, refunds, disputes, tips, and processing-fee lines.
7. SMS and email
When an operator sends SMS or email through MowNext, we process message content, recipients, sender information, delivery status, replies, opt-in and opt-out records, and related logs. This is needed to deliver the message, handle replies, prevent spam, and prove compliance if a complaint happens.
SMS messages may be reviewed by telecom providers, carriers, filtering systems, or compliance tools. Email providers may process message headers and content to deliver and protect email.
8. Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies, local storage, and similar tools to keep you signed in, remember settings, measure site usage, understand what pages convert, detect errors, and protect the service.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of MowNext may not work correctly if required cookies or local storage are blocked.
9. Security
We use practical security controls such as encrypted connections, access controls, backups, provider security tools, audit logs, and limited internal access. No internet service is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, or misuse will never happen.
If you believe you found a security issue, contact support@mownext.com.
10. Retention
We keep information while your account is active and as needed to provide MowNext. We may keep some records longer for billing, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, security, legal, backup, dispute, payment, telecom, and compliance reasons.
SMS audit logs may be retained for up to 4 years because SMS complaints can arrive long after a message was sent. Backups may keep deleted data for a limited period before cycling out.
If you request deletion, we will delete or de-identify account data within a reasonable period, except for records we need to keep for the reasons above.
11. Your choices and rights
You can request access, correction, export, deletion, opt-out help, or account-privacy support by emailing support@mownext.com.
Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you additional rights, such as the right to know what personal information is collected, correct inaccurate information, delete information, limit certain uses of sensitive information, opt out of sale or sharing, and not be discriminated against for using privacy rights.
If you are a customer of a lawn care operator using MowNext, we may need to route some requests to that operator because they control the customer relationship and decide what customer records belong in their account.
12. Children
MowNext is not built for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, contact us and we will review it.
13. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, providers, laws, or company structure change. If a change is material, we will try to give notice by email, in-app notice, or a prominent site update.
14. Contact
Privacy questions can be sent to support@mownext.com. No public mailing address is available yet.
