MowNext vs LawnPro
LawnPro is lawn-specific and more flexible than it used to be.
LawnPro's current pricing page is more nuanced than the old version: free Solo, bundled seats on Startup/Grow/Plus, and a menu of add-ons. The trade-off is that the feature math gets messier than MowNext's $49 Crew tier, and LawnPro still documents a 7-day first payout.
The short version
MowNext vs LawnPro, in a paragraph.
- Two-way SMS, route optimization, and reporting on the $49 Crew tier without add-on math.
- 2-day Stripe payouts from day one. LawnPro documents a 7-day first payout, then daily payouts.
- Lower monthly at 1–5 users if you do not need 7 or 15 bundled seats.
- Mobile PWA with one-thumb design.
- No annual contract. Cancel in one click.
- Lawn-specific from day one.
- Free Solo plan with 25 customers.
- Startup, Grow, and Plus bundle 3, 7, and 15 employee logins.
- Level billing, multi-step chemical programs, and DeepLawn AI measurements.
- Public phone support hours are listed on the pricing page.

The pricing matchup at a glance
Both products start free with roughly a 20–25 customer cap. After that, MowNext Solo is $19/mo, while LawnPro's public plans are $39/mo for Startup, $129/mo for Grow, and $249/mo for Plus on monthly billing. LawnPro also shows lower annual prices at $29, $99, and $199.
The important update is that LawnPro now mixes bundled seats and add-ons. Startup includes up to 3 employees, Grow includes 7, and Plus includes 15. Features like two-way texting, QuickBooks sync, route tools, and ACH can be included on higher tiers or purchased as add-ons on lower tiers. That makes the platform more flexible than the older page implied, but also harder to price at a glance.
The add-on math
LawnPro's current site shows a clear add-on menu: $19/mo for unlimited texting, $15/mo for QuickBooks sync, $9/mo for routes, and $8/mo for ACH on plans where those are not already bundled. Plus includes more of that stack by default, while Grow and Startup can be extended piece by piece.
MowNext's pitch is simpler: Crew is $49/mo for up to 5 users with two-way SMS, reminders, reporting, and routing already in the plan. If you are a mowing-first operator, that simplicity is the point.
The 7-day first payout
LawnPro's documented payout schedule is: 7 days for the first payout, then daily payouts after. That's a week of cash sitting between your customer's card and your checking account. For an operator running on tight cash flow at the start of a season, that one-week wait is the difference between making payroll and not.
MowNext connects directly to your Stripe account. Standard 2-day payouts from the first charge. No initial holding period.
Where LawnPro genuinely wins
If you run a fert-squirt or treatment-program business — applying multi-step chemical programs across a season — LawnPro's program builder is purpose-built. We do not ship that. The same goes for level billing and the seat bundles on Startup, Grow, and Plus if those fit your crew structure better than our $49 Crew plan.
LawnPro also now publishes phone support hours on the pricing page and a clearer add-on matrix than before. If you want a 25-customer free plan and those lawn-specific workflows, stay on LawnPro.
Where MowNext wins for mowing-first operators
Simpler pricing at 1–5 users
At the current published rates, MowNext Solo is $19/mo and Crew is $49/mo for up to 5 users. You do not need to decide whether texting, routes, ACH, or QuickBooks should come from a higher tier or an add-on bundle.
Communication features already inside Crew
Two-way SMS to customers, "on the way" notifications, and 24-hour reminders are already in Crew. LawnPro can match more of that stack today than it used to, but the pricing page still spreads those features across plan bundles and add-ons.
2-day payouts from day one
Stripe direct, 2-day standard payouts, no 7-day initial waiting period. Your Stripe account is yours — connect it once and we never touch the money flow.
Phone-first product design
We ship a Progressive Web App built for the truck and the job site, with one-thumb flows and offline support. If your day lives on a phone between mowing stops, that matters more than a longer feature matrix.
Migrating from LawnPro
Send us your LawnPro export (Customers, Properties, Recurring Schedule, Open Invoices). We import it, walk you through Stripe, and you're live within 24–48 hours. Free for any operator with 100+ customers.
Open invoices stay on LawnPro until paid; we don't migrate already-settled payments. New invoices flow through MowNext and Stripe direct from day one.
Honest fit
Who should pick which.
