Mobile app

A lawn care app built for the truck cab. Not the back office.

Loads in 1.2 seconds on a cracked Android. Works when you've got one bar. Big buttons, simple flows, no menus inside menus.

Why a PWA, not a native app

We built MowNext as a Progressive Web App, not a native iOS/Android app. Three reasons: it loads faster, you don't have to install it (just save it to your home screen), and updates ship instantly without you waiting for the app store. It looks and feels exactly like a native app once you save it. We hear "I didn't realize this was a website" weekly.

Works offline

Lose signal in a rural service area? The app keeps working. Mark jobs complete, take photos, add notes. Everything syncs when you get a signal back. We tested in a dead zone in West Virginia. It just works.

One-thumb design

Buttons are big enough to hit while standing on a tailgate. The "Mark Complete" button is intentionally the largest target on the screen. Job notes are voice-input enabled.

Photo capture

Before/after photos save with the job. They go on the customer's invoice automatically (with a toggle to disable). Customers pay faster when they see a clean lawn — we measured it (Crew-tier customers see a 22% faster average payment time when photos are attached).

Time tracking (Crew tier)

Tap "Clock in" when you start a job. Tap "Clock out" when you finish. GPS coordinates are stamped automatically. Operators see actual time vs. estimate per job in the reporting view.
